ok, so the wait is over. all TWO of you can wait no more. i have picked a winner for the next generation audio of the gospel of john. i posted a few days ago about my first giveaway. i was so excited to being doing my first giveaway. and i still am excited but i was hoping for a few more entries. but that’s okay. it just gives the TWO people who did enter a better chance. maybe if i updated my blog more i would have more readers and thus more entries into my giveaways. but whatev. ok, so i thought instead of just saying who won, i would lead you through the process of me picking the winner. so, here it goes.

i never win anything

that is a statement that i can never again say. remember this post? i had entered a contest over at ohamanda.com to win mark batterson’s book, “wild goose chase“. AND I WON. well, low and behold if i haven’t won something else. i think it was yesterday when i was over at whittakerwoman, catching up on her posts. i stumbled across this post and decided to go ahead and enter. and my thought process was that i won’t win b/c what’s the chance i’d win two things in two weeks? it was a contest to win a free cd from 33 Miles. and i love music. and i love free music. well…….i went to her blog again today (i say that like i don’t read her blog like everyday) and i saw this post. I WON. AGAIN. what’s cool about this contest is that 33 Miles found out about the giveaway and when they saw how many people entered to win a cd they decided to donate 4 more cd’s to give away. so 5 of us won. AND I WON. i’m super duper excited. i’ll let you know what i think about the music. in the meantime, go here and check it out for yourself. and while you’re at it, go check out whittakerwoman. she is a super hip mom who comes up with the greatest ideas for family fun night. like this one. i can’t wait to be a mom.

oh and i am super pumped about readin “wild goose chase“. i read the first two chapters of his other book, “in a pit with a lion on a snowy day“, and just the first two chapters blew my socks off.

i might be a big fat loser at my football picks but i’m a big fat winner over at ohamanda. i’m so excited. i register to win stuff all the time on other blogs and never have any luck. what did i win you ask? i won this book. whoop whoop.
